Keith Knutsson is the CEO of Blue Wellington, LLC, a life science and medical technology accelerator. Blue Wellington collaborates with Harvard’s Wellman Center to commercialize medical innovation. In his role, Keith is responsible for developing and commercializing proprietary technology, bringing together people, capital, and vision.
Keith has facilitated the vision that unites people and capital for Blue Wellington, establishing relationships with professionals on the development side and managing various aspects of the business, including operations, sales/marketing, forecasting commercial opportunities, and financial community relationships. He oversees a team guiding companies from early stages to exit, managing key channels such as R&D, operations, go-to-market requirements, and regulatory compliance. His partnership approach creates value for stakeholders.
Before Blue Wellington, Keith served as a serial entrepreneur with 25 years of experience in operations and financial management in family businesses. He assisted in the valuation and negotiation of the sale of Dollar Rent-A-Car to the Chrysler Corporation, advising UK management in the development of the EuroDollar Rent-A-Car network. Keith has held executive roles in family office, private equity, and institutional settings, focusing on the service and real estate industries in the U.S. and Europe, handling transactions exceeding $3.2 billion. His experience includes direct consolidation of multi-unit service companies globally.
Keith has lectured and mentored students at universities such as INSEAD, Harvard Business School, Emory University, and UCLA Anderson School of Management. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in business with honors from Emory University and an MBA with honors from Columbia University and INSEAD.
